The Westgate School
Westgate School – Tailor Provision Classroom Build
Client: The Westgate School
Project Name: Tailor Provision
Primrose was approached by The Westgate School to transform an unused caretaker’s house into a modern educational space. The goal was to create a tailored learning environment to support smaller student groups, with six dedicated classrooms designed to facilitate one-on-one or small group teaching. The project, known as the Tailor Provision, aimed to provide a flexible, focused setting for each year group.
A Focus on Speed and Flexibility
Speed of delivery was a critical factor, with the school requiring the project to be completed within six months, from conception to occupation. Primrose rose to the challenge, delivering a comprehensive plan to meet this tight timeline.
Unlike traditional modular approaches, where much of the construction happens off-site, Primrose’s method integrates continuous design alongside the build phases. This innovative approach allowed for ongoing adjustments and creative flexibility throughout the process, enabling the school to make changes without incurring additional costs or delays. It’s this flexibility and adaptability that sets Primrose apart, ensuring the final result perfectly aligns with the client’s evolving needs.
