Two classrooms, four weeks, delivered before the new term.
St Nicholas Primary School sits at the centre of the village of Taplow, and any new building on the site needed to earn its place sensitively. The brief called for two auxiliary classrooms within a 30m² structure, with app-controlled heating suitable for year-round use, finished within a fixed budget and without disrupting the character of the setting.
Primrose were instructed in early July. The project was scheduled, built, landscaped, and handed over before the end of August. The net cost, including the fully accessible path, came to £44,000, which equates to £1,320 per m² plus VAT. For a permanently usable, fully serviced educational building, that represents exceptional value.
Local, proven, and set up for exactly this kind of project.
Educational settings rarely have the luxury of extended build programmes or flexible handover dates. Primrose understands that and structures projects accordingly. With landscaping completed as part of the same programme, the classrooms were fully accessible from day one, with nothing left for the school to arrange separately. It is the kind of detail that matters most when a new term is days away.
Primrose Projects delivered the full internal refurbishment of the Bayswater College campus in central London, transforming the existing premises into a modern learning environment for international students.
Primrose transformed an unused caretaker's house into a modern educational facility housing six dedicated classrooms for one-on-one and small-group teaching. The Tailor Provision was designed to support a more personalised, student-centred teaching model delivered within a demanding six-month timeline from conception to occupation.
