Six classrooms, six months, zero compromise.

When The Westgate School approached Primrose, the brief was to take an unused caretaker’s house and transform it into a modern, flexible learning environment. The Tailor Provision, as the project became known, required six dedicated classrooms designed specifically to support one-on-one and small group teaching across year groups. The timeline from first conversation to occupation was six months.

Primrose met that deadline by running design and construction concurrently rather than sequentially. This meant the school could make adjustments as the build progressed without triggering additional costs or delays. For an educational client working to a fixed academic calendar, that flexibility was not a nice-to-have. It was essential.

Design that runs alongside the build, not ahead of it.

Traditional modular construction fixes the design before a single component is made off-site. Primrose’s on-site approach keeps decisions open for longer, which means the finished space reflects what the client actually needed, not what they thought they needed at the point of sign-off. For The Westgate School, that translated into a teaching environment genuinely tailored to a student-centred model, delivered on time and without the rigidity that causes so many educational builds to fall short of the original vision.

Bayswater College

Primrose Projects delivered the full internal refurbishment of the Bayswater College campus in central London, transforming the existing premises into a modern learning environment for international students.

St. Nicholas Primary School

St. Nicholas sits at the heart of the beautiful village of Taplow, so the new 30 m² building needed to keep a low profile while meeting a fixed budget. Primrose was instructed in early July and delivered the project, including associated landscaping and accessible pathways, by the end of August. All within four weeks on-site.
