This 300m2 basement in Holland Park has now got a roof!
The roof comprised a 450mm thick reinforced concrete slab which had to be poured in one day. It took 11 concrete trucks and a 12 hour shift to get the job done. Where subterranean developments extend into garden areas, it is typically a planning requirement to leave the structure one meter below the garden level. Once the waterproofing is complete, Primrose will bring in 280m3 of topsoil to reinstate the garden above the new structure.
